Swimsuits For Your Body Shape: Pear
Flaunt your assets and look great in a swimsuit this season. We have the secrets for looking good in a bathing suit no matter your shape.
The pear-shaped body is bigger on bottom than it is on top. Pears have wide hips, narrow shoulders and a smaller bust.
If your pear-shaped heart is set on a two-piece swimsuit, opt for one that draws the attention upward. A top with ruffles, bright colors, a pattern or a tie front will do the trick. Wear it with a more subdued, darker bottom. Avoid horizontal stripes or any other kind of pattern on the bottom.
Since your bust is smaller, you can wear bandeau tops, tiny triangle tops or a halter top with some padding if you want the extra lift. Bottoms should be high cut to create the illusion of longer, leaner legs.
For a one-piece, go for a boat neck or a racer back, which will make your shoulders look broader and creates a more balanced look.
