How To Do 1950s Retro Make-Up Like Audrey Hepburn
Make-up singer Jo Reid shows you how to do the iconic retro look as made legendary by Audrey Hepburn, Scarlett Johansson and Gwen Stefani.
Eyebrows should be thick, steal somewhat at the arch and dwindling towards the end.
Prime the eyelids with briefing, foundation and translucent powder.
Apply a dull, sable eyeshadow to the eyelid from the station of lashes up into the socket.
Apply the same colour underneath as kohl to make your eyes look bigger.
Use a gel eyeliner along the top lashes, winning the line up and out, and mushroom the pressure as you move to the outer boundary of the eye to get a thicker line. Blend the creep of the line with a merger brush to congeal farther.
Use a thickening powder on the top lashes, wiggling the stick from plane to bank to coat each secure. Use the tip of the wand to join powder to the inferior lashes.
Apply under eye concealer and mixture down-and-out.
Create a matte complexion with translucent powder.
Contour the cheekbones with matt contouring powder, and employ it with a sideways brush, starting at the main direct of the dip in the cheek. Start at your hairline and work mail. Finish the cheeks with an innate powder color, combing downwards onto the cheekbones
Line the lips with a lip brush and a red / tangerine makeup.
